This is exciting because it is the first time we've tried a Weller product. They are definitely not easy to find in Ohio! The fun rumor about Weller 107 is people say you can mix it with Weller 12 year and you will get a poor man's Pappy Van Winkle. The Weller Antique 107 had a great smooth taste, a hint of caramel, some vanilla and a sweetness that I distinctly tasted from the Pappy Van Winkle bottle.

I don’t think it speaks to me quite as much as the darker, oakier dimension of the W.L. Weller 12 Year, but I do think it’s considerably more intriguing than the more conventional Antique 107.
